Leadership Authors Ready to Reach a Bigger Audience
CCLA is an author team with a fresh take on leadership and a book to prove it. Their debut, Leadership Actually, challenges conventional thinking and offers a new perspective for leaders who want to do things differently.
But their old WordPress site wasn't doing the book justice. It was basic, hard to update, and didn't reflect the energy and personality behind their work. As they prepared to grow their platform with more books, more content, and more speaking, they needed a website that could grow with them.
They found us through Julie Dawson with Neighbors of Northwest Arvada and Neighbors of Stanley Lake, and we got to work.
A Colorful Platform for Bold Ideas
We migrated CCLA from WordPress to Squarespace and built a site as vibrant as their perspective on leadership.
Key elements of the project included:
Book showcase. Leadership Actually gets the spotlight it deserves with a dedicated page featuring the cover, description, praise, and purchase links. The structure is ready for future books as they publish.
eCommerce setup. Readers can order directly from the site, keeping the transaction on-brand and giving CCLA more control over their sales.
Blog setup. A content hub for leadership insights, articles, and updates that positions them as thought leaders and supports SEO over time.
Newsletter integration. We set up Squarespace Email Campaigns so they can build their audience and stay connected with readers directly.
Colorful, welcoming design. CCLA's brand is bold and optimistic. We leaned into their vibrant palette to create a site that feels warm, energetic, and unlike the typical corporate leadership aesthetic.
WordPress migration. We moved them off a clunky WordPress setup onto a platform they can actually manage themselves.
The Result
CCLA now has a website that matches the energy of their ideas. The site showcases their current book, sets the stage for future releases, and gives them the tools to build an audience through content and email. Most importantly, it's a site they're excited to share.
